    Terms of Service

    These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PumpkinDisplays.ca website and our seasonal display design, delivery and installation services. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

    Our Services

    Pumpkin Displays provides professionally designed seasonal fall displays for residential and commercial properties across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and select surrounding areas. Services may include design, sourcing, delivery, installation, pumpkins, gourds and other seasonal materials, optional lighting, mid-season refreshes, post-season removal and other agreed-upon services.

    Each display is individually styled for the property. Photos and inspiration images on our website and social media are intended to demonstrate our design style, scale and direction. Your finished display will be unique and will not be an exact reproduction of another display or inspiration image.

    Natural Product Variation

    Pumpkins, gourds, plants, straw and other natural materials vary in colour, size, shape, texture and appearance. These natural variations are part of the character of each Pumpkin Displays installation and are not considered defects.

    Specific varieties, colours, sizes and seasonal materials are subject to availability throughout the season. We may make reasonable substitutions when necessary while maintaining the overall scale, quality and design intent of the display.

    Quotes and Pricing

    • All quotes are estimates and are confirmed before booking.
    • Final pricing may vary depending on display scale, property layout, design complexity, location, access requirements, selected add-ons and custom requests.
    • Package starting prices — Classic from $499, Signature from $899, Grand Entrance from $1,499 — are starting points only.
    • Commercial installations start from $1,500.
    • Applicable taxes will be shown on your quote or invoice.
    • Add-on services (removal, refresh, lighting, statement pumpkin) are priced separately where applicable.

    Booking and Deposits

    A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and reserve your installation date. The required deposit amount will be shown on your confirmed quote or invoice.

    Because Pumpkin Displays reserves installation capacity, schedules crews and may source seasonal materials based on confirmed bookings, deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.

    The remaining 50% balance is due 48 hours before the scheduled installation. For bookings made within 48 hours of the scheduled installation, full payment is due at booking.

    Pumpkin Displays reserves the right to postpone or cancel an installation if the outstanding balance has not been received 48 hours before the scheduled installation date.

    At our discretion, we may offer a reschedule or account credit in exceptional circumstances.

    A quote or inquiry does not reserve an installation date until the required deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Pumpkin Displays.

    Scheduling

    Installation dates and windows are scheduled based on location, route efficiency, crew availability, weather and seasonal demand.

    We may group installations geographically to reduce unnecessary travel and improve scheduling efficiency.

    Exact arrival times may vary. Unless specifically confirmed otherwise, an installation date or window does not guarantee an exact arrival time.

    You do not normally need to be home during installation provided we have sufficient access to the installation area and any required instructions in advance.

    Installation and Property Access

    Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the installation area.

    Please ensure that gates are accessible, pets are secured when necessary, vehicles or other obstructions are moved when requested, and any known access concerns are communicated before installation.

    Customers are responsible for identifying any unusually fragile surfaces, delicate landscaping, hidden irrigation systems, unstable stairs, restricted areas or other property conditions that may affect installation.

    Natural materials such as pumpkins, straw, soil, plants and moisture may occasionally leave temporary marks, debris or discolouration on some outdoor surfaces. If you have particularly delicate or porous surfaces, please tell us before installation so we can consider appropriate placement.

    If we cannot safely access the property at the scheduled time, additional travel, delivery or rescheduling charges may apply.

    Weather and Rescheduling

    Pumpkin Displays operates outdoors during the fall season in British Columbia.

    For the safety of our crew and the quality of your installation, we may postpone or reschedule work due to severe rain, high winds, unsafe conditions, extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

    Weather-related rescheduling is not considered a cancellation and does not make a booking deposit refundable.

    We will make reasonable efforts to complete a rescheduled installation as soon as practical.

    Seasonal Display Promise

    We select and install seasonal products with care.

    Because pumpkins, gourds and plants are natural and perishable products exposed to outdoor conditions, their appearance and lifespan can vary depending on temperature, moisture, sunlight, wildlife and other environmental factors.

    If an individual piece unexpectedly deteriorates shortly after installation under normal conditions, contact us and we will assess the situation and make it right where reasonably appropriate.

    The Seasonal Display Promise does not cover damage caused by severe weather, wildlife, vandalism, theft, accidental damage, relocation or alteration of the display, improper handling or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

    For a larger touch-up designed to bring the overall display back to photo-ready condition, our optional paid Mid-Season Refresh is available separately.

    Display Longevity

    Display longevity varies depending on weather, temperature, moisture, sun exposure, wildlife, installation timing and other environmental conditions.

    We do not guarantee a specific lifespan for a seasonal display.

    We select seasonal materials with West Coast conditions in mind and arrange displays to encourage appropriate placement and drainage where practical.

    Displays installed earlier in the season have a longer stretch to get through, which is why customers may choose to add an optional Mid-Season Refresh.

    Moving or Altering Your Display

    Once installation is complete, we recommend leaving the display in its professionally installed arrangement.

    Pumpkin Displays is not responsible for damage, deterioration, instability or other issues caused by customers, guests or third parties moving, stacking, rearranging or otherwise altering the display after installation.

    Cancellations

    Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.

    If a customer needs to change an installation date, contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

    At our discretion, we may offer a rescheduled installation date or account credit in exceptional circumstances.

    Once an installation or other purchased service has been completed, amounts paid for that completed service are non-refundable.

    Mid-Season Refresh

    Customers may purchase an optional Mid-Season Refresh, subject to availability.

    A refresh may include tidying, restyling and replacement of select seasonal elements as reasonably required.

    The Mid-Season Refresh is separate from the Seasonal Display Promise and is intended to refresh the overall appearance of a display after normal seasonal exposure.

    Post-Season Removal

    Post-season removal is available as an optional service unless specifically included in your quote.

    When purchased, Pumpkin Displays will return during the agreed removal period, remove the seasonal materials included in the original installation and leave the installation area reasonably tidy.

    Where practical, eligible pumpkins and other organic materials may be directed to local farms for animal feed, composting or other appropriate organic reuse.

    We cannot guarantee that every pumpkin or material will be suitable for agricultural reuse or composting.

    Customer-owned items will not be removed unless specifically agreed upon.

    Lighting and Decorative Add-Ons

    Where lighting is included, Pumpkin Displays uses appropriate decorative lighting intended for the installation.

    Any candles supplied inside lanterns as part of a Pumpkin Displays installation will be warm-light LED candles. Pumpkin Displays does not use real flame candles in its displays.

    Customers are responsible for following manufacturer instructions for lighting or decorative products they retain after the season.

    Photography

    Pumpkin Displays may request permission to photograph or record completed installations for our portfolio, website, social media and marketing.

    Photography permission is collected separately and is not required to request a quote.

    We will not intentionally publish a customer’s street address or other identifying personal information with photographs of their display.

    Customers may decline photography or request that we ask before using images of their property.

    Liability

    Pumpkin Displays takes reasonable care when working at customer properties.

    Customers are responsible for informing us before installation about unusually fragile surfaces, delicate landscaping, hidden hazards, restricted areas or other conditions that may reasonably affect the installation.

    Pumpkin Displays is not responsible for ordinary deterioration of natural seasonal materials or for damage to displays caused by severe weather, wildlife, theft, vandalism, customers, guests or other third parties.

    To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pumpkin Displays’ liability arising from a service will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service giving rise to the claim.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

    Commercial and Custom Installations

    Commercial properties, events, strata properties and larger custom installations may be subject to additional terms contained in the applicable quote, proposal or service agreement.

    Where additional written terms for a specific project conflict with these general Terms of Service, the terms of the specific quote, proposal or agreement will govern.

    Website Use

    • You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse, copy, or redistribute content without permission.
    • All content on this site — including text, images, designs and branding — is the property of PumpkinDisplays.ca unless otherwise noted.
    • Images on PumpkinDisplays.ca may include completed installations, styled photography and design inspiration intended to demonstrate our aesthetic and the types of displays we can create.
    • Where images are identified as concepts or inspiration, they should not be interpreted as photographs of completed customer installations.

    Third-Party Links

    Our website may contain links to third-party websites such as social media platforms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

    Privacy

    Personal information submitted through PumpkinDisplays.ca is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

    Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
